Stonegate, one of the largest free-range and organic producers globally, have recently invested in an upgrade to the latest version of Principle Suite.

The company, which has been trading for over 90 years, recently strengthened its new packing technology to follow up on the investment previously made in their packaging centre. Such is their commitment to finding new solutions to old challenges in pursuit of excellence.

Stonegate have been successfully using the real time data capture software since September 2017 to standardise and enhance around 1,900 tasks per month. Specific areas of use include quality management, stock takes, cleaning schedules, scale calibrations, metal detection checks, production checks, goods in records, vehicle checks and audits.

The solution upgrade, successfully completed at the start of October, has already seen the time spent on high care packing checks reduced by almost 75%. Stonegate will look to the Seamcor solution to make further efficiency and productivity gains throughout the whole of their organisation.

Stephen Williams – Senior IT Manager for Stonegate Farmers Ltd said: “Seamcor are able to keep coming up with amazing new features to help in all kinds of areas across the business. With the latest release of Seamcor software, we have been able to use it in so many more different areas, meaning our efficiency increases and our amount of paperwork decreases.”
