The innovative paper-free software from Seamcor is helping an international multi-service provider streamline production and boost the bottom line.

Elis is offering textile, hygiene and facility service solutions to their customers, helping them to concentrate on their core business and save time by renting and caring for linen, textile article and well-being.

With 80 sites in the United Kingdom, Elis were keen to increase productivity and improve their production systems, and with this in mind they asked Seamcor to help.

The Seamcor software is now being integrated into a number of day to day Elis processes and is enabling employees to reduce paper / clipboard reporting and adopt quicker (and fully traceable) monitoring on handheld devices. The data which is gathered in real-time, is stored on a central server with full integration with Elis’s reporting system.

With the Seamcor app to hand, operatives are able to easily and quickly run regular checks, for example, the condition of linen returned, and by using this approach Elis have been able to identify a significant proportion of ‘abused linen’ that could be charged back to a customer thus legitimately increasing revenues substantially.

IT Director at Elis, Duncan MacMillan said, “Using Seamcor software has made a significant and tangible difference to our processes. We are very pleased with the low-cost innovation which has helped with the day-to-day challenges such as ensuring inspections are systematically undertaken and centrally monitored.
Seamcor is a great organisation, because the answer is never ‘no’. They always say, ‘Yes, we can make something happen’.”
