Seamcor are excited to announce the opening of their branch office in South Africa. The investment into the African market is a direct result of their rapid growth and will serve the growing list of customers in the region.

In September 2019 Seamcor confirmed the opening of their South African branch with Johan Olivier (Service Delivery Manager – Africa) in charge of the day to day running. Since July 2018 the business has experienced phenomenal growth in South Africa. Seamcor has been trusted to standardise and enhance the business operations for Afarak Group (currently employing their software at their Mogale Alloys Plant), Elmacast Engineering, Adlam Engineering, Afrigrit, Jubilee Metals Group and JB Marks Local Municipality. These client captures are in no small part due to the expertise gained from almost 15 years of supplying flexible software solutions to industry leading organisations around the globe.

The dedicated UK in-house support & installation teams, who continuously develop & enhance the Principle Suite software package, are supporting Johan as he delivers the onsite consultancy & training. These latest partners will be in full control of their own processes and data, such is the company’s refreshingly customer-centric approach to software, without the need for ongoing consultancy and configuration costs.

JJ Kotze, managing director, also confirmed that they are currently in the process of doing a proof of concept with one of the biggest mining & ferroalloy companies in the world. This news should come as no surprise given Seamcor’s established presence within the mining & ferroalloy industry.

Mr Kotze added: “The opening of the branch office is a big step forward for our company. It enables us to comply with all the South African laws and regulations and puts us in a position to accelerate our marketing and sales plans for the region.”
